I am a translator with over ten years of experience in the
fields of
literature,
arts/humanities, travel/tourism and advertising/marketing. I am accredited by NAATI (the
Australian National
Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) for
translations from English into German and from German into
English. I also have a
Master of Arts in History and Linguistics from Ludwig Maximilians
University in Munich (Germany). I am a native speaker of German and an excellent speaker of English, translating from German into English and English into German. My translations have been published in the Sydney Morning Herald and in the Goethe-Institut Australia's cultural magazine. My experience ranges from years in the travel industry to linguistic papers, artist interviews and poet blogs as well as talks, for example for the City of Sydney or at the State Library of New South Wales.
